Onhold Media Player Easy Start Guide
- Check that you have received all the listed items
- Connect the 3.5mm jack of the Line Isolation Unit (LIU) to the HEADPHONE socket on the 1800 Onhold player. The other end of the LIU should be connected to your phone system. (Various phone cables included to suit your system).
- Connect the RJ45 (internet cable) cable into the back of the 1800 Onhold player and plug the other end to your modem/router/network connection.
- Connect the power supply to the 1800 Onhold player. A blue light will show on the player showing it is turned on. It may flash to a purple colour for 5-10mins while the player powers up. The onhold will commence playing once this returns to a solid blue light.
Congratulations!
You have just installed your 1800 Onhold player, you should hear onhold messaging playing through your Phone System after 5-10 minutes of the player being powered up. You can adjust the onhold music volume via the screw control on the LIU. Please call our Customer Service Team on 1800 664 653 if you require any assistance connecting your Onhold player.

NO ONHOLD?
Ensure the LIU cable is connected to the player & phone system. The player may still be powering up, wait 5-10 minutes after plugging power in and check again.
USB PORTS/VGA SCREEN
These will only be used under instruction from our Technical Department. Do not connect without authorization from a 1800 On Hold Representative.
PLAYER SURROUNDINGS?
Ensure the 1800 Onhold player surroundings provide adequate airflow, and the cooling fins are not covered. A clearance of 20cm is recommended between the sides and top of the player.
